Signal Soldiers Seek Work at Yellow Ribbon

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- New York Army National Guard Sgt. Manual Tressandy, assigned to Company B, 101st Signal Battalion, talks about employment opportunities with Garry Harvey, head of veterans recruitment for FDM Group in New York. More than 200 Soldiers from the battalion conducted their initial Yellow Ribbon Reintegration program here to learn about services, programs, benefits and opportunities for Citizen Soldiers returning from overseas service. The 101st Signal Battalion returned from a year-long deployment to Afghanistan earlier this summer. The Yellow Ribbon program is a day-long effort to familiarize Soldiers and their family members with a variety of helpful contacts and information related to their return home.
